the operator I was on used to throttle the bandwidth hard at night when more people were using it. I'd get 10mpbs in the morning, and 1.5mpbs by night time. The ping wouldn't change much though.

its better now that I can get vodafone over there, but I'm very glad I don't need to rely on that for work any more.

the AOW_Rootfs folder is basically the entire android storage, everything

but its a quick fix for those who can't install the game so long as the emulator engine has been installed properly

however I still don't quite know how this will work with the launcher especially if the install previously failed or was interrupted

hmm I have a spare laptop here, I might try a fresh install and do the same just to have it saved. One thing though, if the emulator gets an update you'll need to reupload, sometimes the change the AOW_Rootfs version which I assume changes the system partition

and you're done

@halcyon root increase the resolution - in the launcher click the small button with three lines to open the menu, choose settings, then game and then set the resolution as you prefer. On a 1080p monitor I use 2k resolution and no in-game antialiasing as it looks better in my opinion. When you start the game, you may need to click the keyboard icon on the right and set smart 2k mode there as well but it should be selected automatically. A 1050ti should be able to handle 2k no problem, my laptop has a 2gb 1050 and it can manage it just fine.

You might also want to increase the DPI to 480 in the engine settings but the jury is out on whether or not that makes a difference to anything.

I played quake arena on a 120 hz monitor once and there was a huge difference when I capped the framerate at 60 using Rivatuner

@neat sedge I have found a strange problem in game, when u throw grenade in high toss then u take the other grenade make it a low toss aim it and then press cancel, the grenade which u threw at high toss will get cancelled either

Turn on "Prioritize Dedicated GPU"
Set cores to 4 since it's a Hexacore processor and theres no option for 6
Everything else seems fine
You can turn down the ram to 2gb if it gives you more performance

@vagrant bay I don't know about the grenade issue but I'll see if I can reproduce it. Not sure how to cancel a grenade though. With regards to DPI and PPI these are scaling factors that are used to map real world units to display resolution or print resolution. It gets confusing because we use the same measurements for monitor, printers and mice. In the emulator the underlying android OS uses the DPI value to determine how large onscreen elements should be. I don't personally believe that increasing the DPI makes the mouse smoother - I've tried it both ways and not noticed any difference myself.
@halcyon root can you put a screenshot? it shouldn't look blurry at 2k on a 1080p monitor. Don't worry about what the Diagnose function says, it says the same on my laptop (Intel graphics) but you can see in Task Manager that it is using the Nvidia graphics.
