OK - could I just be clear that we are possibly dealing with more than one issue here?
it is possible to get a ban by using modified game files (graphics tool), modified APK (patched to give infinite health or whatever) or now networking abnormalities
the issue I see with Memu and ldplayer was maybe to do with modifying game files - the emulator overrides the default resolution same way GFX tool used to = ban
but the error message was wrong - it said "download an original copy from the play store" or whatever
in this case, the error message is different - it says, networking abnormalities which makes me think of the emulator detection exploit
but see three ways to get a ban, only two error messages
so then, has our friend here used an emulator detection workaround and got a ban as a result?

OK - I had a look in some dark places that I know where cheat and hack developers hang out
found confirmation that Tencent are banning people for blocking certain network addresses
which is how the old emulator detection patches used to work. So I think I'm right on this one.

@light ingot as far as I know there are three ways to get a ban - use a legit APK but modify game files (graphics tool, certain emulators). Use a cracked or non-legit APK. Use an emulator detection hack.
@light ingot the first two will trigger the same error message as they are essentially the same thing. Emulator detection hacks that work by blocking certain network addresses will trigger the second error message.

I have been doing some researches on the past few months about emulators and from many forums I found out about the many different types of emulators
But some folk at the cemu forum told me that
Some emulators try to emulate the presentation of a system which is quite accurate but requires more resource
Whereas others try to replicate what the emulators do which is harder to make and can be time consuming to make an accurate one
But is way less demanding than the other.
In simpler words,
Imagining that the game is a karate student is the game and the emulator is a fake teacher
The first type of emulator can dress up in Karate costume and his teacher and get the kid <game> to do stuff
It is more demanding because the teacher doesn't actually know Karate
The second type of emulator is someone who isn't the teacher, but knows Karate and doesn't really dress up as one
He tries to convince the game that he can teach the kid Karate rather than acting like his teacher
The kid doesn't really trust the teacher as he doesn't look like his original teacher but takes time to improve <as the development of the emulator goes one>

Vulkan is a low level interface that just allows you to easily send lists of commands to the GPU, skipping all the high level stuff
It is easy to map the emulated GPU to Vulkan sometimes than it is OpenGL

why don't you start the emulator directly and not use the launcher?
go to the folder that you installed Tencent Gaming Buddy to, then the UI folder, then double-click on AndroidEmulator.exe - then the emulator will start. When it starts it will just show a single icon for PUBG - click that and you are up and running.
you can even create a shortcut to AndroidEmulator.exe, put it on your desktop and use that to start the game

if you don't see the "play" button in the launcher it will allow you to bypass the launcher completely
but I cannot say if the game will load correctly so you'll have to try it and see
the file you need to look for is (by default) C:\Program Files (x86)\TxGameAssistant\UI\AndroidEmulator.exe
if you have changed your emulator installation path though it will not be the same
If you don't know what your emulator install path is, open the launcher, click on the the drop down menu and choose "Diagnosis" and it will tell you where the emulator folder is

but the only way to do it would be to use GFX tool and that risks getting a ban

My frames are still dropping from 60 to around 30 after each 5-6 seconds.

@peak swift this works but the launcher never shows the play button afterwards as it thinks the game is not installed. You will probably not ever get APK updates unless you do them manually through the same method.
alternative - go to where emulator is installed, then UI, then double-click on AndroidEmulator.exe - a blank window will open, this is the emulator's android desktop and its blank because the game is not installed. Press F9 and you will see icons for settings, downloads, browser. etc appear. Open the browser and go to pubgmobile.com and download the APK. When that finishes use the back button on the menu bar on the right, and go to downloads. From there you can install the APK you downloaded. Press back, and then F9 again and you will see the PUBG Mobile icon you can click to start the game.
As I have said however the launcher becomes useless after doing this as it will never show the Play button correctly. So you always have to start the game from AndroidEmulator.exe - you can make a shortcut to it on your desktop to make life easier.
