But I wouldn't have expected the problem to happen on Windows so that's a surprise. Do you have a wired headset you can use? if your PC has a mic or a webcam or something you could just use some ordinary headphones instead maybe?

@plain sedge not everyone has poor fps - poor fps is down to a combination of factors. If your CPU is underpowered or not reaching its full potential you will have poor fps. If the emulator or Windows is misconfigured that will also have an impact.

that's a strange decision by Intel/OEMs
oh I see - your default clock is 1.6ghz and it has a hard time hitting 3.4ghz due to TDP limits
turbo boost isn't disabled but since the base clock is so low it can't always reach full due to throttling (power limit throttling)
there is a review on ultrabookreview.com that suggests the maximum sustained multi core boost clocks are 2.2-2.3ghz because the 8250u throttles down to 15w TDP under heavy load
so its not that turbo boost is disabled, its just that it can't hit that maximum clock for very long on multi core workloads. So you have to download throttlestop and override the design limits.

AOW is the actual emulator that the launcher launches
the launcher lives in your system tray with a yellow icon
but you only really need it to update the game, I don't usually have it running
I made a shortcut to AndroidEmulator.exe and placed it on my desktop
if I double click on it then it will start the AOW engine, and I can click on the PUBGM icon to start the game

I don't think so as it's running natively so translating like an actual android os tablet. If it's a touch device (windows tablet) it's safer as otherwise on a non touch device using controllers via octopus etc will get you banned sooner or later.
