@still wyvern That's easy to fix and you don't need to redownload it

Follow my steps

#

First go to the install Folder and find 2 folders named "AOWrootfs" <or something like that>
Make a copy of those two folders to another file

#

Then reinstall the emulator

#

and put those files to the same location

#

After reinstallation
Open the emulator, and close it as soon a download starts <for the game not the engine>
kill the Tencent gaming buddy process in the task manager
and open the emulator again

Btw, I have a problem too though, sometimes, when the games starts, like I am at island where we wait for the battle to begin, I can't hear my teammate's voice chat neither I can talk, and it happens throughout that battle, after the battle, sometimes it comes back to the lobby and sometimes it gets freeze on the loading screen @gleaming rock @fast lagoon

that emulator freakin me out... im tired of using it. After that crash i followed the instructions of @vagrant bay . Was working great. The Game is already starting. But i noticed the 100% CPU usage thing again. I played one game and it was feeling good. Then i restarted, got the crash and deleted all files from prefetch and temp. If i check again: 40% usage from TGB and same for Discord. That makes it 80% but i get 100%. And Discord only gets 40% usage because i started playing the game. Withot playing Discord using just 10-15% maximum

the developers of the emulator are aware of the issue and are working on it. however, something like this simply can't be fixed in 5 minutes, or even just a day. even with dedicated teams, both the emulator and the game are millions of lines of code. i know it isn't pleasant, but please allow at least a week for a fix.

mind, i don't know how long it will actually take. i'm not part of tencent, and they don't give me updates on the progress they are making. i am a member of the official emulator telegram group, where a dev did say they are working on it, but didn't give a time frame on a fix. the time frame i have given is only a bare minimum of time that a fix for this will take. if we're lucky, it may happen faster, but it will probably take longer

yes, I get around 17-25 maximum and I put fps setting at Ultra and that is not my biggest problem! The main problem is when I land my game freeze for seconds and it take at-least 10-30sec to load graphic of buildings...

I need help. I have been play PUBG through the emulator for a few months now and it worked great until today. I launch the game, it loads to a 100% and it says "updating configuration files" , even that goes upto 98% and just stops there. I have been sitting here for at least 30 mins and it still hasn't moved past that. So i have no idea what's going on, any help would be appreciated.

@cinder compass this might work, it is a temporary solution though, do this, when u tap on play or when the AOW engine is started, click on the multi window icon on the right side bar! Close the old screen which u opened earlier and with the new screen click on pubg mobile
