threads are sort of like virtual cores, in this context. if a cpu has, for example, 2 cores and 2 threads, each core has only one thread and can only execute one instruction at a time. if the cpu has 2 cores and 4 threads, each core has two threads and can execute two instructions at a time. it's quite a bit more complicated than that, but this is more or less what it means for the consumer.

@gleaming rock theoretically yes. in practice, not so much. the multiple threads are a result of clever scheduling, and it is entirely possible that errors can crop up during the scheduling process. in practice though, this hardly ever matters, as cpus these days are so fast and so accurate, that 1 error in a million(or more) instructions will hardly impact performance. this rumor sound a lot like something intel fanboys have been convincing themselves of during the period of stagnation that happened before ryzen came on the scene and shook things up.

Go to your install directory, <it's a folder named "TxGameAssistant>
Then in that folder there will be another folder named UI

#

In The UI folder there is an application called "AndroidEmulator.exe"

personally, I can't see anything wrong there. perhaps experiment with changing between dx, opengl, dx+, and opengl+, see which performs the best for you. also, ingame, I'd recommend using smooth/extreme/disabled/disabled. your choice for soft, realistic, classic, etc, that shouldn't have any impact on performance.

@peak swift matchmaking time depends on what rank you're in and what server you're playing on. Usually the NA server has longer waiting times than EU and Asia, likely because they are less emulator players on NA. I usually have to wait 2-3 minutes on NA for arcade matches, but it takes about a minute on EU because I'm on different ranks between the two servers

@peak swift do you have a mobile device that can handle pubgm? if you do, there are USB capture cards that can maybe help you. if not, I'm afraid your laptop doesn't have quite enough oomph for streaming pubgm, if you need to play it on your pc as well as stream it. if that's the case, you'll want to invest a couple of consoles' worth in a mid tower that's built to be good for streaming games.

I'm talking ryzen 5, gtx 1050 ti/rx 560, 16gb ddr4 3000+ ram. the gpu is a bit on the low end, but it isn't nearly as important as the cpu when it comes to streaming, and it can get 60 fps at medium - high, 1080p.

mmm he's alright with his i7 7.5k ddr4's are a legit a must minimum 12/16gb depending how big the game is gonna be and ofc he'll need a good cooling system but yeah about 500usd sounds close, not sure he'll be able to get a gtx 1050 ti in that price range tho, and ofc a ssd for his OS

also, keep in mind that you're not directly connecting to the server. your communication has to pass through your network, then through any number of other, unaffiliated networks, then through the server's network, and then finally reaching the server. if any of the networks between your network and the server's network are experiencing issues, your ping jumps

unfortunately, this is all handled automatically by devices that no human has direct control over. the internet is too vast for manual path selection. all you can do is use a different isp or a vpn

go to emulator settings and change API to DX+
processor to 8 (if you have a 8 core processor or a processor with hyperthreading 4C 8T or 6C 12T)
change ram to 4gb
Prioritize dedicated gpu if your system has one
leave dpi unchanged
and set resolution to 720/1080p (depends on your screen)
then save those settings and exit emulator from Task bar and open it again then open pubg and go to in game settings and set graphics to smooth/balance/HD (whichever works for you) and change frame rate to Extreme

You can always adjust your mouse dpi and emulator DPI separately. 480 insures the smoothest mouse movements in TGB.

The lower your TGB DPI, the blockier your mouse movements are going to be.

dpi literally means dots per inch. this can mean two very different things, depending on the device you're talking about. for mice, it's a measure of sensitivity as the more dots in a millimeter of the beam, the more sensitive the mouse is. for monitors, it's a measure of pixel density and depends on the resolution vs your monitor's physical size. I'm not entirely sure what TGB's dpi is really referencing. if it's monitor, higher values will make the screen take less space, given your chosen resolution. if it's mouse sensitivity, higher values will make the mouse more sensitive.
