This is just an alternative method we have here in the Discord server. I am even working off-hours to review your reports and forward everything to our security team for manual review. This method was my own idea to provide some more close service to the Discord community, but this is not at all within my field of work. I work in the community team, not in a technical team within the company, and I cannot spend too much time on this daily. Believe it or not, even we have lives. The only way for me to keep up with this system and follow up on each report is to keep the highest slowmode configured, enforce strict requirements, and close the channel once every 24 hours. We have almost 500 000 members in the server. One community manager alone (of course along with the help of the dedicated moderators here) cannot handle this otherwise, which would force us to just remove the channel altogether. Your ranting feels uncalled for. You should be grateful that you actually have this opportunity.
As for weekly community updates on suspended cheaters, this was replaced with an in-game real-time list. You can always take a look at the never-ending list that just keeps getting updated. We will have more updates, news and campaigns in the community regarding the cheater situation, in the future. A recent example is that we suspended a cheater who has spent more than $10 000 in-game. Cheaters are cheaters and we treat everyone equally. All cheaters are eventually suspended. It is just a matter of time. Please understand that with a player base of more than 50 000 000 (50 million) daily players, it is impossible to enforce a completely cheater-free environment, and to manually review all in-game reports immediately. The game is so popular that there are even organized hacker groups attacking PUBG MOBILE every day, and we with our advanced security systems, measures and teams intact always do our best to combat these cheaters. We patch something, they never give up, and we constantly need to find new ways to improve our systems: it is a never-ending cycle.

Thank you for your reply. I was not aware that the cheat reporting function of the Official PUBG channel was something you had created of your own back or that you spend your own time looking into it. This is something that we as a community can only be grateful for.
You seem to take my message as a personal attack. Let me make it clear that it is not. But, as a paid employee of Tencent and in particular one who is a community manager, I do expect you to address the general concerns I raise in more detail than you do. On a side note, calling my letter an ‘unjustified rant’ is downright rude – if I was to call what you wrote a rant I would immediately be banned and rightfully so. Let’s both play by the same rules here, please.
The general comment I made is that whilst I have never said Tencent does nothing to ban cheaters, what is being done is clearly not enough. Whenever a season starts, it seems cheaters are few and far between. When I then as a player progress in ranks, it seems that more and more cheaters appear. This clearly shows that amongst higher rank players there are more cheaters, as one would probably expect.
I do not expect a completely cheater-free game, I appreciate that this is virtually impossible. But whilst the figure of 50 million daily users shows the challenge of the task, it also offers an idea of the incredible level of income the game makes. Resource put to cheating should be relative to the amount of users and this is evidently not the case, a point that is rather ironically made clear by the fact you find yourself assisting with cheaters in your private time.
So, I ask you as an employed representative of Tencent the following:
- Why is there no better communication about hackers in the game, bearing in mind the last took place three months ago?
- Why is there not more resource put towards banning cheaters?
I fully appreciate that you work in a large company and decisions like this are likely to be made further up the hierarchy, so I do not expect an immediate answer. But, I believe the vast majority of the player base would like answers to what is perfectly legitimate questions for paying players to be asking.

Those are #old , the system of #cheater-reports isn't an official way to report cheaters. You are free to use the report link or report in game.
