Apex is good in this case, unlimited free trail feature. 
@gilded citrus it depends, the player might be a season 6 ace in another server and must be a bronze in the server you are talking about. The players you get matched with entirely depends on the tier you are in that server.

Turn your graphic settings to Smooth and frames to Extreme if your device supports it. Clearing your device's cache, rebooting it regularly and having sufficient free storage will also reduce such lag. If none of those work, your device is most likely deteriorating.

@thick shell I have seen people with similar issue in the conqueror tier. They kept trying to contact the in game customer service and were replied to by a member of the customer service. They were successfully able to solve the issue. I suggest you try the same.

Yes he will have more RAM and CPU usage for the game but also he will have impact for example in social media like Messenger, Instagram. He will not receiving messages or SMS

Also beware, using developer mode is risky, be sure to know what you are doing as most of say developer features are experimental.
