No it didn't work with season 5 update. Idk the reason but I haven't tried updating yet since it works on my new device but most likely it's (the update) unsupported or there's a bug that keeps making you crash

I thought about it (that maybe the app doesn't support the old phone after the update) but couldn't they announce it or something? 😅 Like "hey, we're going to increase the standard so throw away your stinky old phone and use a better one".
