Has anyone else noticed abnormally high ping and lag recently? Last night, on NA server, my ping was 200-500% what it normally is and the game wasn't smooth to play at all. Huge issues with desync (like 1sec +), freezing, "loading" animation, frame drops, getting stuck on corners of walls, etc etc .

hey guys, the game is unplayable for me on euro server since ~ 5 days. my ping was usually ~ 30-50ms during 8pm-11pm, now its 500-900ms, no chance for me to play the game. there are no changes (hardware, ISP etc) on my end point

@vast lion well I wouldn't restrain you from using it... adding more load to the phone isn't really good for the components... its gonna make your gameplay hard. Using WiFi is the best option (in my opinion).
@vast lion I've used a Lenovo hub with my S8. The ethernet works fine (no faster than WiFi though) but the lead is short and the hub is heavy. I bought a USB C female/male extension but I believe they're not technically supported in the USB C specifications.

The IP address you’ll want to run depends on the server you play on.

You're not making complete sense anymore,. You say you have 200 people in 1 room playing on 50mbps connection while you also live stream. That's going to hog speeds down for people and spike ping.
That's just the matter of things , you all play interference with each other and whatever else is going on within that area

They generally don’t respond either at all or right away . All you have is the option to file a claim and wait for something to happen. Could be a few days depends on the claim and what they choose to do with it

When I swipe up to move forwards (left side, ctrl scheme 1) I have to slide approximately 1/3 the screen depth to enter sprint, unless I have the 'autosprint' button set lower than this. In a claw grip this means that my fingers get very bunched up unless I put up with having to release and click back out of sprinting. I'd like a sensitivity control for this, possibly with x,y axis separate but failing that I think the current default is very insensitive.
This is on an Samsung Galaxy S8 which has a quite wide aspect ration (18:9) so I guess squarer devices might have it better?

@lost umbra It's the column you can land on top of. Some people have completed it by landing on the top, some around the base and some just can't get it to register (I have a friend with this issue). Might be worth a bug report, particularly if you're prepared to gather evidence. I can't test if it's fixed in beta because it completed successfully for me.

What we heard from the team is that it is safe to use, @lilac mist . We don't recommend using it cause it can cause few other in-game issued like ping fluctuation and some have faced the "abnormalities detected" due it as well. It also depends on how the person used the VPN and for what purpose. So simple answer is just it's not really necessary for the game and we don't recommend using it.
