Hello guys, I need some help. Is there any way to appeal merit loss?
I'm asking because in a recent game, I was being reported by a random for killing him. However, it wasn't intentional at all. What happened was that, we were ambushed by a squad that came in a car. I wrapped around and took cover behind a wall to take them down, and at the same time, this teammate rushed in to kill them. The 3 members of the squad were standing right beside their car, and I shot them after I killed the first guy. However, this teammate stood too near the car, and obviously because I don't have perfect recoil control, he immediately got killed when the car exploded. I am very puzzled by this, because there should still be a revive option, and I don't understand why he died immediately.
In any case, my merit was deducted since he was extremely salty about it and reported me, which I felt was extremely unfair for me. I know merit can be earned back, but in this case because it's an unfair deduction, is there any way I can appeal this merit deduction to be taken off my record?
