Yeah it happens with every app and playstore is well coded enough to stop it from happening , the problem lies with the internal download manager (as playstore doesn't have a inbuilt downloader).

The iPhone 8's chip is actually a better one than the iPad 2018

iPad 2018 uses the same chip as the iPhone 7s

If you have graphics problems on your ipad while playing pubg try this solution , ipad settings > display & brightness > display zoom >zoomed > set > use zoomed , then go back and play
Don’t forget to choose hd in pubg setting , enjoy
