If you are facing performance drops after the update then the only thing I can suggest you is to use the in-game repair tool
and I can't really help you on the server connection issue as this is mostly on the serverside, but I still recommend you check if you have any vpn running in the background or if any kind of firewall is blocking your connection

@stoic flower You have the option to choose how much battery power your cpu is gonna take, select that to as high as possible but know that it's gonna drain up a lot of battery charge if you're using a laptop

Thing is, my CPU is an 8th gen i3 ( i3 8100 ) and it would be fine playing the PC version but the emulator lags. I assume this is because it's emulating the game on android rather than natively running it on my PC.

But I still dunno what you mean by lag, for some people 40 fps is considered "LAG" for them and for some they are referring to FPS drops, and funnily enough the word "LAG" has nothing to do with the frame rate

If people specify what kind of frame rate drops they face, then it'd be much easier to help them, in your case, not reaching 60 fps is lag, so I gotta ask what settings are you using and what's your full pc specs

#

Frame times can be improved by using Rivatuner,
Frame Stuttering may be caused by Windows game mode for many windows 10 users but can be fixed by disabling game mode or just like above using Rivatuner
Low Frame rate can be improved by tweaking some settings in the emulator and some in the system settings like NVIDIA control panel

Don't get me wrong. I do reach 60 fps. It's just that the game stutters too often to maintain the 60 FPS target constantly.

thats because miramar is dead (also the download size is huge 300mb)
sanhok is quite small means more encounters and it is new so less people know it properly
same with vikendi

It might be unstable framerate , low frame rate or maybe the framerate is good enough like 50 but can't reach 60

@carmine reef I've played PUBG on PC and Xbox and I prefer the mobile version for the gameplay

though I don't think PUBG lite will get a global release anyway - I don't see what purpose that would serve unless the steam version is also going free to play

@stoic flower the gameplay is the same as PC so no auto pickup, no auto equip, guns are always in single shot mode and need reloading when you pick them up, recoil and bullet drop much worse, etc.
