if emulator players have friends on mobile, they can also join the team

but the all the other teams they face in the game will have at least one emulator player per team

also if emulator players use auto matching to fill out their team, those will all be emulator players

#

so unless a mobile player joins a team that already has an emulator player onboard, they will never see an emulator player in game

it doesn't bother him that we are on emulator, he thinks its cool - and he can hold his own anyway

BUT he didn't know we were on emulator when he first joined our team

well, i used quotes for a reason. that's just what the manufacturer calls the button. it's not like it has the functionality of "back" in all applications. frankly, it's supposed to represent the movement function moving backward. not that it works that way in games. point is, it's an extra button on my mouse that i mapped to function as 'f'. here, google is your friend

@cobalt quarry if you stick just to the drops, you'll probably miss it. especially if you're playing for kills rather than for the win. I've seen it most often in the top 20 and up. again, on enemies.

is there a particular reason why you're looking for it? it's usually not all that effective on most people. fools keep climbing the reddish rocks while wearing it, making themselves an easy target for me.

@stoic flower its a version of android that can run on a PC. You have to install it onto your computer and boot into it as a second operating system. Phoenix is based on Android x86, an open source project but they bundle some gaming tools with it like a keymapping tool so you can play PUBG mobile in it.

@stoic flower I have heard the keymapping is not very good but I guess if TCGB is not working for you its better than nothing

though you should know that emulators like Memu also exist and have smart keymapping just like TCGB - Memu is easier to install and has fewer compatibility issues than something like Phoenix.

@odd escarp my main desktop and laptop are fast enough not to worry about Phoenix. However my son plays with me on my old desktop that has potato specs. Up until recently I thought it was working fine for him but after the last patch he's getting some quite long freezes while playing the game and its cost us at least one match.

@acoustic knot have you also had a freeze while driving, or as a passenger? I think it probably needs peak throughput when you're driving as you're travelling through the map more quickly. More terrain and objects to stream in a short time compared to walking

its very rare , most of times it just skips 2 - 3 frames whenever a squad comes into render ,
and 4-5 frames drops when squads render while full speed vehicle @civic niche

the game freeze is very rare and when it happens the game just drops frames for 30-40 seconds then resumes xD

its happened to me like 5-6 times in this whole week

and it happens only while passenger

for me it happens opposite , the cpu locks at 100% for few seconds , game freezes , then cpu load goes down , i hear the cooling fan slowing down , then game resumes after 20 seconds or so xD

I think the emulator leaves it up to windows to figure out how to schedule them

one of the problems you get when you have multiple sandboxed processes running is needing shared access to resources

and when you have lots of threads you also have mutexes and god only know what else

multi threaded programming is hard to design well, so throwing more cores at the problem doesn't always solve it

it's a beta emulator. bugs and issues are to be expected. furthermore, emulation itself is pretty demanding, you really need to have a decent processor to have a good experience. a dual core from 10+ years ago isn't going to cut it.

I was going to suggest trying it so you could see if your U series was throttling due to power limit

@stoic flower @carmine reef actually, if you're on emu and team up with mobile players, your opponents should be emulator players(unless they too are teamed with mobile players).

how exactly can you detect what your opponents are using? do you have some kind of mobile player radar that I don't know about?

the rules are pretty simple: if at least one member of the team uses an emulator that is detected, the team gets matched with other emulator teams.

@hazy root the only two ways that these wouldn't apply is if either there's a bug or if an emulator user deliberately tries to bypass the emulator detection. the latter is a bannable offense, the former... shouldn't happen, but sometimes it does anyway.

well... when there aren't enough players, it should fill the match with bots and/or tell you that it couldn't find a match and prompt you to keep trying. not fill the spaces with mobile players.

@hazy root your proof that it does that? because I play on emulator almost exclusively these days and whenever there aren't enough people, I am shown a message saying "couldn't find a match, do you want to keep trying"

please don't spread misinformation. if you make an allegation regarding how the game does matching, provide some kind of proof, so that we can try to replicate it. if we can replicate it, we can forward it to the community team to forward it to the devs, so they can fix it.

It's possible to play zombie mode on PUBGM

but it's not an official gamemode like PC

#

PUBGM team should focus on new gamemodes, upgrading the interface, optimizing the game (specially TGB) instead of adding more skins and events

It can run at 25fps on an iPad mini 2 with a 1.3ghz dual core arm CPU and 1gb RAM, that's actually pretty good optimisation
