- open the emulator and click on the menu icon and click "repair SD"
- Go to "add or remove program " by searching with cortana and then find Tencent gaming buddy and hit repair

@stoic flower which generation i5? they're not all the same. also, pentium is usually less capable than the generation's i5. pentium would be more of a minimum requirement than an i5.
to pile on a little bit, i'd say that you can probably get away with a ryzen 5 2400g or even a ryzen 3 2200g + a gt 1030. on the intel side, if you don't expect to be doing anything else on the computer while playing pubgm, i'd say a pentium g4560 + a gt 1030 will do nicely.

@iron pier which generation i7? also, even though it's ugly, i still recommend smooth graphics. not just for framerate reasons. for competitive reasons too. no shadows = less places for enemies to hide from you and allows you to know if you're truly hidden or not(if you hide merely in shadow, trust me, other players can still see you. we're not like the ravenous bugblatter beasts of traal.).

not something any of the staff here have the ability to influence. one other thing: for a pc, running a mobile game can be harder than running the pc version of the same game. this is because of the need to emulate a mobile device. with the pc version, the code for the game executes directly to the cpu. with the mobile version, the cpu first needs to run code that translates the game's code to something it can understand. this extra step increases the resource use of the game and makes it harder to run.

@stoic flower you're going to have to host such a tournament yourself, or someone who is playing on emulator will have to host it. i can't speak for tencent as i'm not an employee, but they're very unlikely to host an emulator allowed tournament. too many advantages that emulators have.
strafing aside, the biggest advantage of emulators is actually screen size. it makes spotting enemies(at the same distance) much easier.

Anyone checked how the performance is when you use your cpu instead of gpu?

i use memu right now but when i run with tencent gaming buddy with my settings i get on highest graphics 50 fps
and i have medium spec pc

U need disable antivirus syncronisation, use high graphis and anti aliasing ultimate, because emulator uses lot cpu, and if u use high graphics more gpu is needed and less cpu which means u have higher graphics and higher fps, oh and use dircetx+

better multicore performance helps with this use case

@stable scroll i hate to say it, but what you need is an upgrade, imo. that's a seriously old chip, and all you have to work with is integrated graphics. integrated graphics are only usable for gaming if they're vega 8 or vega 11 or better. intel's integrated graphics just won't cut it for serious gaming.
