Main story, i cant properly view the ratings of trophies, nor can I edit them. the mounts on the wall were floating animals, and the platforms are sunk into the floor. when i walk to a place in edit mode, the button appears for edit stand, but nothing happens when i press it. (ive made new lodges, and its the same) Also, things seem to not notice me at all? like i have invisibility, and soundproof, even guns. the only mod i have installed says its render distance only. And this is after uninstalling and reinstalling the game

UPDATE: i joined a friends game, and it like, balanced itself out by spreading to them??? Moose would spook from us, but the whitetail just, ignored both of us entirely. Moose spooked as normal, and the deer just let us walk up point blank. I ended up getting dc'd from the server in a really weird way, but thought about sharing that.

Delete all mods and do a fresh install. They’ve messed your game up.

Mods are not supported in this game. Any mods you use can and often will eventually corrupt your game in various ways like this, from still functional to completely unplayable. Mods from other people can also infect your files when you join their modded sessions, as this game is peer 2 peer. This also means when you joined your friends lobby you likely spread your “infection” to him. He should be watching his game to make sure nothing is still causing issues even in his singleplayer lobbies, or he may have to do the same. Just play legit next time. There’s nothing support or devs can do to fix something caused by outside sources.

It's always an odd thing when people come in here to report problems that they themselves have caused due to mods. Like, the game flatout states not to use them and the discord is against it and still lol. Always assume that if you have any mods installed, that any problems that arise is your fault and not the developers.

FR? ill try again, and i think i removed the mod. i followed the path and ill try deleting it and verifying the files first, the a full install if that doesnt work. i just liked having increased render since it was fun to try and make really long shots, and helped with spotting. will update when done.

can you blame me for thinking it might be something else? the file states it only increases render distance. I had suspicion, but wanted to come here first to see if anyone had experienced this before

update, from verifying the files after the delete, it fixed animals, lodges still broken. i will play for now, then do a full install later tonight. thank you, I just couldnt think that that was the true issue, (i didnt want to try again at the time), and will close if the install fixes lodges

Glad to hear it fixed animals, but hopefully a fresh install fixes the lodge for you. Let us know how it goes.

For your own peace of mind, you might try to make a manual backup of your save just in case. Isolate it and keep it away from your other files- just store it on your desktop or a thumb drive and nowhere else. Cheers. 🤞🏼 fingers crossed for ya
