It does not increase visibility- it has the exact opposite effect. The animals will be less likely to see you in foggy/rainy weather.

How visible the hunter is to the animals is what decreases. So it makes animals less likely to spot you in fog or rain.

No that’s not what visibility means “Visibility is the measure of the distance at which an object or light can be clearly discerned”. It is effecting how visible you are to the animal so it’s your visibility.

If it was decreasing the animals visibility the animal would be harder to see.

I see, you're being cheeky by saying in foggy weather, the animal's visibility is decreased, in a way, yes because they can't see the hunter as well. I swear this was a discussion on here before, with visibility maybe being taken too literally. You see fine (unless at night with fog and night vision binos lol), they see bad.
