Salzweisen Goose Problems

Something is wrong with Salzweisen goose hunting. I'm not sure if they just stopped respawning, stopped flying, or what. I have 3 different setups on Salzweisen that are all Greylag & Bean Goose combo setups. I have consistently rotated between these 3 setups and had really good action at all 3 until recently.

At first, it just started to really slow down. I would get one wave of geese and then nothing. At one point, I sat in the blind for 30 minutes real time before going back to the menu. Returning from the menu brought more geese, but again, only an initial wave. As I eventually shot these down, I stopped getting any geese at all. I rotated to all 3 spots and not a single goose can be seen flying.

I am on PS5. I don't know what conclusion to draw from this. Either the geese stopped respawning altogether, or they stopped flying. At any rate, the entire map is dead to me now, and I am relegated to hunting them on other people's maps.

I have something similar, but I know what the issue is. I have the e-caller out, with Greylag and Tundra Bean being called. I saw about 30-40 birds all pouring in, so then I started blasting. After a little bit, the birds stopped coming in and I figure it's due to one thing I noticed happened: I shot a bad shot on a goose and it flew into that migrating thing they do, which means it never died. I think that messed with the respawns in such a way that that one bird alone is the cause for my spots being completely empty. I have since moved my caller to a new location and the birds have came back but that spot seems dead because of that one bird, seemingly.
