crash need help

so its been happing for. 1/half years/2024. now and cant fix it anyone can help me it happens when i open the game on steam after the white screen and then when it goes black my game crashes iv tried to verify game and Evan reinstall it OVER 1millon times now cant play hunter any more its cooked for me all i used was WeMoD once or twice but that's it..

Did you physically delete files before a repair/uninstall? It’s a long shot that that would fix it but might as well try if you haven’t. Unfortunately this is the risk of modding and partially why the developers don’t condone it.

Do you play keyboard and mouse or do you use a controller on your pc? if you use a controller, unplug it and try booting up the game, I had the same issue for months and come to find out it was the controller causing it, I had to boot up and then plug in my controller to work around my issue.

yea but i deleted ALL mods and still didn't work but yesterday i factory reset my pc to see if it works if IT DOESINT WORK SHOULD I JUST DELETE ALL FIES AND RENSTAILL THE GAME AGAIN?????

That’s what I meant by deleting files… I assumed you had already deleted the mods. Delete all game files and do a repair then reinstall the game, (turn off the cloud as well and then choose use local files as the cloud backup might be screwed too) you might have to delete your saves as well if its still crashing and start over.

You use steam?

Well if you use steam: start by right clicking on any game in your library and then click Properties, that should take you to the General tab in which (under Language) it should say Steam Cloud.

Click the Manage Cloud Settings and then click the slider next to Enable Steam Cloud so it’s grey instead of blue.

The next time you launch the game it should give you a pop up asking if you want to use info from your local system or the cloud. Choose the local.

If you use something else idk how to disable it, you’ll have to look it up yourself.

YEA i fixed it and i just spawnd a super on my wolf grind

Uses a mod program, gets a super. Heck of a coincidence if you ask me.
