Problem starting cotw.

Been playing cotw for three years on this PC and account.
My specs are more than enough. But the game just crashes when I loud it up. And now it’s frozen on the loading screen. I don’t know if it’s a bug, corrupt file, Steam having issues or something else.

Must be pc. You can’t verify files on console.

Might also be Xbox I believe there’s a way to verify files through an Xbox account but I’m not certain on that.

Yeah you can’t on console, at all. Xbox or PS. That’s a PC only thing.

I have had the problem of the screen freezing after the APEX screen for several months. It is an intermittent problem. Sometimes restarting the PC helps but not always. I have verified steam files several times and even uninstalled then reinstalled. Same issue. My work around, and it always works, is to have the windows resource monitor icon on my task bar, then open the monitor after the screen freezes, find thehunter program near the top of the list , then right button click on it and select "resume" to resume the suspended program. It's best to have the game load in window mode by typing "/window" in the Steam properties launcher option. You can then go to the in-game options to change the video the fullscreen if you want.

I play on PC on steam
