Welcome to Mauna Maika'i (Mauna = Mountain, Maika'i = Excellence) Reserve Hawaii
Home to 15 species, 9 which are brand new, this reserve brings a collection of beauty and experiencing the truly wild.
Mauna Maika’i Reserve is spilt into 4 biomes: Coastal Dry Scrubland, Fern Rainforest, Alpine Lava Flows and Māmane Cloud Forest.
Special Map Feature: "Vog" (Volcanic Smog) - The higher you go towards the volcano, the thicker parts of the fog and map can become, so be careful!
Chase invasive species such as the elusive Indian Mongoose or Axis deer.
Hunt huge dangerous Wild cattle who may try and chase you if you are not careful!
And collect every species of gamebird in this fowl paradise, including the beautiful Kalij pheasant (A brand new pheasant to call of the wild)
And whisper of a GREAT ONE which locals call the Puaʻa Hikea Kamahaʻo or better know as the 'excellent deer'. The Blacktail will get a remaster and become the GO on this map.
