As the title suggests, this is my idea for a future backfilling. I am going to limit my list to a maximum of three new species per reserve.

Hirschfelden

An incredibly beautiful reserve that is really fun to hunt. I think this reserve could benefit from:

  • Eurasian Pine Martin
  • Black Grouse
  • Iberian Mouflon (Renamed to just "Mouflon")

Layton Lakes

One of my favourite reserves with a lot of cool animals and big mountains. I trhink Layton needs:

  • Bighorn Sheep
  • Mountain Goat
  • Mountain Lion (Small population)

Medved Taiga

A great reserve for new and experienced Players alike. I had some troubles coming up with ideas for potential adds to this reserve, but ended up with:

  • Tundra Bean Goose
  • Mountain Hare
  • Roe Deer (Similar change like Desert and RM Bighorn. Slight changes to make the Medved variant Siberian Roe deer and the rest European Roe deer)

Vurhonga Savanha

I literally cannot think of anything that would work for Botswana. All I Could think of was:

  • Fallow Deer

Parque Fernando

I personally think Parque is a great reserve. I think we need these on Parque:

  • Fallow Deer
  • Iberian Mouflon (Again, renamed to Mouflon)
  • Feral Goat

Yukon Valley

One of my all time favourite maps, and for good reason. It has an incredibly good species list (minus the bad models) All that I think should be added:

  • Black Bear
  • Willow Ptarmigan
  • Coyote

Cuatro Collinas

The best map for getting diamonds (imo) there's not much that can be added, but what I would suggest:

  • Fallow Deer
  • Red Fox

SRP

I personally think this map is desperately lacking Small game. All I think that should be added:

  • Red fox
  • Coyote
  • Ring-necked Pheasant

Te awaroa

One of the best maps in the game, I definitely find myself hunting there often.

  • Rocky mountain Elk
  • Whitetail Deer
  • Sambar Deer

Rancho del Arroyo

A very nostalgic reserve for me (I was a casual player for 2 years before getting serious about the game after Rancho released) I think there's a lot to be desired here.

  • Plains Bison
  • Puma (I think it would be nice)

Mississippi Acres

I think all we need is some ducks and a small predator

  • Wood Duck
  • Mallard
  • Coyote

Revontuli Coast
I don't think this reserve needs any more species. All I can think of is:

  • Red Fox

NEM

Probably the least favourite reserve of the community, there's much to be desired:

  • Woodcock (Eurasin Woodcock renamed to American Woodcock)
  • Canada Goose
  • Gadwall

Emerald Coast

Honestly a great reserve, not much should or can be added. These are my picks though:

  • Water buffalo
  • European Rabbit

Sundarpatan

Another amazing map. I think the only thing we might need are some additions to the south.

  • Wild Boar
  • Sambar Deer
  • Hog deer

Salzwiesen Park

  • Roe Deer
  • European Hare

*** Askiy Ridge***

  • Mountain Lions
  • Grizzly Bears
  • Coyotes

*** Torr nan Sithean***

Id love gadwall also on Mississippi
And for rancho you could also drop green winged teal, cinnamon teal and Northern pintail for waterfowl options and use coues deer as a whitetail replacement

# cold comet I did say that I was gonna limit every map to 3 species maximum. Honestly Gray W...

Eh I guess I just really need a Mountain Lion and Gray Wolf Shared Reserve and a Gray Wolf and Coyote Shared Reserve! I actually I think about a wolves might actually work for Layton, but under one condition… and I’ve brought this up in the past but…. Have them be a Halloween event exclusive….. as in for the Halloween season and just that time of the year an event place where gray wolves are a huntable species on Layton Lake District, but only during the Halloween season because after that they’re out and you’ll have to wait until next year…. As that thrill factor and a bit of realism to it then rather adding crypto like Werewolves, Bigfoot, Wendigos, Yetis, Vampires, Chupacabras ect

white-tail jack rabbits look like plastic bunny's,

I feel like puma would be a better fit for Layton although the mountain lion and puma are roughly the same, the blacktail multimount for them makes it a more fitting species

Adding on to this, Yukon seems to be based on the Yukon River valley on the Alaska side. Since there’s no coast on the map I’d assume it’s not completely near the coast but there are harlequins so ( using the purple map of harlequin sightings) I’d guess Yukon is in the central part of the valley north south wise but a bit closer to the border east west wise.

So sadly even sika black tail would be out of place, but dall sheep could work (if they ever would put em on a map)

Because there are things I wouldn't like to see in the game, for example:

  1. I wouldn't want to see black grouse and martens in Hirsch.

  2. Then, in Vurhonga and Fernando Park, I wouldn't want to see fallow deer, and even less so in Vurhonga.

  3. In Medved, a new species should be added, the Siberian roe deer, as it is a separate species, not a subspecies. (This is not a criticism, but a correction.)

  4. On the other hand, in CC, I think it is complete with fallow deer and partridge; I don't see the need to add fox.

  5. Then, in SRP, coyote and maybe white-tailed hare are enough to complete the map.

  6. On the other hand, TA seems complete to me; no need to fill in, unless some bird is added. Besides, I'm tired of the white-tailed deer appearing on 70% of the maps.

  7. Finally, in my opinion, Mississippi needs ducks, not coyotes.

  8. And on the other maps, such as NEM, REV, or EC, I wouldn't add any species, as they seem quite complete to me.

The entire point of parque is being a sort of game ranch so adding fallow works
But vurhonga should stick to African species imo
Mississippi is a new environment we haven't seen coyotes in yet and would make a new hunting experience for them
In place of whitetail on te you could easily substitute them for sambar or rusa
And srp could use more game birds turkeys being the only ones makes the map feel very empty
Ec needs at least water buffalo or AT BEAR MINIMUM euro rabbits since they are a very invasive and rampant species in Australia

But this is my two cents on this message

Oh yeah no mention but rancho is really lacking in game birds imo for a place that's known for its game bird hunting

for Hirschfelden, if the map was expanded to the bigger mountains, then maybe. but they would just end up being at the left side of the map i imagine and compete with the Boars, Bison, Red deer and Roe deer and it feels like to much. Black Grouse would be ok, the birds don't effect mas to much. Same for Pine martens, I'd be fine with them.

On SRP, I would rather see Canada geese, mallards dusky grouse, Green-Winged teal. Coyote could work in the plains of the map. No to pheasants.

I have a lot more no's and some yes's with the other maps but my response was to long without nitro so i just covered my two favorites.

Also, you guys keep wanting to rename them to just "Mouflon" when there's European Mouflon, Armenian Mouflon, Cypriot Mouflon, Esfahan Mouflon and Laristan Mouflon. That would take away from having other breeds of Mouflon possibly added in the future.

I should add that European Mouflon are not even true Mouflon (Ovis gmelini) but are instead a subspecies of Domestic Sheep

After all the European Mouflon (Ovis aries musimon) was for a long time restricted to Corsica and Sardinia until the last few hundred years where they were introduced across Europe. The oldest mouflon remains on Sardinia and Corsica are not much older then 8000 years old by Neolithic farmers
