I love cap and ball revolvers, but they are extremely weak handguns by modern standards and are not very ethical.
The only 2 I would really consider ethical would be the 1860 army with the cavalry issued shoulder stock—you can stabilize it far more than a regular handgun and so it is more precise—or a colt walker/ dragoon, by merit of being significantly more powerful than other black powder revolvers.
I would be happy to any of them in game though, and it’s relatively easy to add a scope to a remington
