I would like to propose a new weapon type that would fit perfectly into the stealth-hunting niche of the game: Hunting Slingshots.
This would offer a fun, high-skill challenge for small game hunting and pest control, functioning as a silent alternative to the .22LR or the air rifle.
Here is the concept:

  1. The Weapon Models
We could have one main high-performance hunting slingshot model available in 3 distinct visual styles/colors (e.g., Tactical Black, Camo, and Classic Wood).
  2. Ammo Types & Classes (Ball Bearings)
The core mechanic would rely on switching ammo size to fit the integrity class, similar to arrows:
    • 8mm Steel Ammo: Designed for Class 1 animals (Rabbits, Ducks, Quail). High speed, flat trajectory.
    • 10mm/12mm Heavy Ammo: Designed for Classes 2-3 (Foxes, Raccoons, maybe even Roe Deer at very close range). Higher drop, more kinetic energy.
  3. Gameplay Mechanics
    • Silence: It should be the quietest weapon in the game (lower noise radius than the bow).
    • Range: Effective range of 15-25 meters, requiring the player to get very close.
    • Aiming: No scopes. It should rely on intuition or a simple fiber-optic reference point (Instinctive aiming).
    Why add this?
It adds a tremendous amount of replayability for veteran players looking for a hardcore stealth challenge. It would be incredibly satisfying to sneak within 10 meters of a target to secure a harvest.
Thank you for considering this idea!

What prompt did you ask chatgpt to make this

Literally no one talks like that, plus the idea of getting in sub-10 meters of animal is so absurdly crazy considering that's the range that animals instantly spook.

Again, still instantly spooks at that range
