I mainly play on Xbox but I want to start playing on my pc. Everytime I try to merge my accounts it tells me I can’t because I already have a Microsoft account. Is this just not possible or is there something I need to do. TIA

If you're trying to transfer your game data it won't work since save data is entirely client side (aka your own device) and isn't stored on an online server
