Most sights currently available to put on shotguns are bulky and take up a majority of the screen, limiting visibility. The Marksman Exakt Reflex Sight is small and compact, and its small zoom level (1x - 1.5x) allows the hunter to see fleeing waterfowl and upland game birds with greater ease.
Reflex sights are used by hunters in real life on shotguns, and the only shotgun it is compatible with in-game is the Strecker SxS 20G. The Falcon 3-9x44 Drilling Scope is only compatible with the Grelck Drilling Rifle, and while the Meridian 1-4x20 Shotgun Scope is equippable for five shotguns, it is a scope used for far-range shooting and is not optimal for bird hunting (trust me I've tried). This issue extends to the Hermes 3-7x33 Handgun-Shotgun Scope. There are iron sights for the Caversham Steward 12G and Cacciatore 12G, (model SOU12 and SPA12) but they do nothing aside from adding a green glow to the iron sights that helps visibility at night.
With this change, the shotguns that are compatible with this sight are the Benelhag 12G, Cacciatore 12G, Gopi 10G Grand, Nordin 20SA, and Strandberg 10SA Executive.
Images show a real life shotty with a reflex sight and a comparison between the Marksman Exakt Reflex Sight and one of the scopes (dunno which) to show how much more compact it is.
