Please, just change a few things with the Whitlock and Laperriere Outrider as below

Change the classes it covers to 3-8 to better reflect real world use and match the .44 Moradi

Change the current ammunition to have slightly higher expansion for the Whitlock

Add new, modern ammunition for the Laperriere Outrider including polymer tipped and hard cast

Increase the maximum zero to 250m with the short range zero at 75m and the medium range zero at 150m (in fact please do this for the Coachmate .45-70, a rifle just should not have a shorter range than a pistol)

Seriously, modern .30-30 ammunition is leaps and bounds ahead of what was available and infinitely more potent than what ever black powder load EW based the Whitlock's ammunition on.

Between proper bullet construction and the advanced propellants driving those bullets the .30-30 has had massive leaps in effective range and performance on game animals as large and tough as moose and bison.

I've personally dropped moose 170gr Remington corelokt ammunition, like you have said hundreds of time hux the 30-30 gets the job done

Just wish it did in game, its sucks seeing my real world favorite rifle be this bad in my favorite game

I've dropped dozens of moose with a 30-30, i've been hunting them since i was 13 (I'm 24 now)

A longer effective range for the rifles over the small arms, hard cast cartridges, and changing the current ammunition to have a slightly higher expansion are practical tweaks.

One could argue with the rifles, over the revolvers, rifles could benefit from a higher accuracy rating as well as less recoil in addition to effective range.

Powerful 30-30 45-70 rifles are dream that we will never see. Because 99% of game content is grind. I now it exaggeration but I play since 2021 and don't see the desire to fix the problem.

I wish the emphasis was on a more realistic hunt but I feel like the grinders are the more dominant player base

Ideally there'd be an extra difficulty but I don't see it in the coming future
