Simple as
The ducks and geese are far too noisy and overly present on the maps they populate to the point it gets quite annoying.
Often I'll just be walking around and several flocks just won't shut up and it gets irritating
Also, it always sounds like they're rly close but they're in fact way up in the sky.
Please EW, this is something I'd love to see fixed. Badly.

Incredibly frustrating not only when walking out in the world but also when hunting them.
The few ducks that are loud when landing off the top of my head are mallard and wood duck; Canada geese are really annoying in general and many of them are very loud when flying overhead

Would also be nice if it was only possible to get the warning call ( ) stuff if you’re in a stand or the birds are on the ground cause it’s extremely annoying to have them going off so often, especially when they can override the warning call I’m trying to listen for/interact with.

Personally I think the waterfowl aren’t loud enough, and I’m sure there are others that would agree, so rather than “fixing” their sounds, some kind of slider to adjust the volume of waterfowl in particular would be great

Another thing i was thinking of yeah, a lot of noises in the game are very loud or very quiet for me ( have sensitive hearing and gunshots and atv is extremely loud while i'd like bird wing flaps of pheasants and grouse to be louder) but there's not separate sliders for each noise, I think i saw a feedback post for this idea

After duck invasion I abandoned Vurhonga and Mississippi. I know lot of hunters adore of duck hunt but duck and geese noise is a big irritating factor for the rest. Once upon a time I hunted in place where thousands of ducks getting ready to long trip. It was a very quiet place.

Yeah ducks don't just constantly quack overhead and hundreds of meters above you where you would barely hear them anyway

Geese while flying overhead are very loud tho. That doesn't need to be changed in my opinion. Ducks, yes, tone them down. Geese on the ground don't make so much sound, so they could tone that also down.
