So, a lot of people REALLY want an africa 2.0, which is fair since vurhonga is a pretty old map, but what about south america? at least africa still has 9 completely unique species, a lot of fernando's species are now found on different maps and arent even native to the continent in the first place (though they are known big game for argentina). So, I went and researched about south america game species.. and its uh... pretty difficult to find specifics about it. However, I did find two specific countries in the continent that did give me some good concise information about hunting there. Gunyana and Chile, the former especially has some good information about hunting there, they have a website that shows specific hunting seasons, and the game there is pretty unique too. This includes toucans, capybaras, iguanas, agoutis, brocket deer, lesser anteaters and many more! Meanwhile, chile would likely be more of a choice for the environment being unique compared to parque, as its more mountainous (as shown in the picture), and there are some unique species to this country to hunt like guanacos, the only problem with these is there isnt many.. returning species in these two countries, so it could be difficult for the devs with how itll take a lot of dev time most likely. But, this isn't about a specific amount of species in a reserve. I want everyone to brainstorm about this! What can be hunted in a gunyana or chile focused map? I have one specific criteria for this:Be sure its something that is said to legally hunted (or at least, doesnt say its prohibited, though that would be iffy so be careful with that), so I unfortunately don't think jaguars are huntable species in south america, as much as everyone wants them, and to be fair, i don't know the full context of all the animals and permissions to hunt them in call of the wild so you can clarify for me if you all want to. But lets look at these two countries and see if we can create a realistic south america 2.0 reserve

Tbh, I really doubt we’ll see Africa 2.0 in 2026 and I reckon we’ll see this and a US map instead

its certainly possible, but we have no idea, i do think discussing about this can help EW make its roster, though we never really know, it wouldn't hurt to try though^^

Yes 😔, anyways i think south America is great you should look into supporting an existing thread like #1207357430963507281 Or #1317873569673510972 . https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1229863432967294986 is another one in central america. It is generally accepted that not all species need to be legally huntable see, capercaillie on Scotland. Buffalo, barasingha and the cats on Sundar. Bison on Hirsch and many more examples.
So tapirs and jaguars are definitely possibilitys. Further south areas like the gran Chaco could also be considered for a more open game and more big game https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1389191762773545040

They have done 1 europe one america and one Europe in a row. I can't imagine they'll continue with this trend. I like salz but askiy really didn't sell me. Im generally thinking Scotland is my sort of map but I am also longing for something far more exotic

I always prefer the River Water Buffalo in Parque Fernando.

There is a way around this: A Year of Latin America

The First Reserve could be the second reserve for Mexico and more specifically in Southern Mexico
• Returning Species would include Puma, Collared Peccary, Coyote, Raccoon, Northern Bobwhite (they range far south) and Northern Pintail
• New Species & Subspecies would include Central American Red Brocket, Yucatan Brocket, Ocellated Turkey, Great Curassow, Created Guan, Lowland Paca, Yucatan White-tailed Deer (smaller subspecies), Coatimundi, Green Iguana, Great Tinamou, 9-banded Armadillo and Muscovy Duck

Then the second reserve would be set in lets say Guyana
• Returning Species would again include Puma, Collared Peccary and now Lowland Paca, Muscovy Duck, Great Tinamou, Iguana, Armadillo and a renamed Red Brocket Deer and Tropical White-tail (similar model, different subspecies)
• New Species would include Tapir, Jaguar, Black and Spectacled Caiman, Blue-winged Teal, Black Curassow, Tufted Capuchin, Tamandua and Capybara

I don’t know if its a perfect idea but its an idea

Many people fear that EW is focused on North America and Europe. Because it is profitable.

The lodge at Fernando Park could be turned into a small trophy lodge, at least that’s what I think (it’s empty and spacious).
