[Based in South Africa]

(Also since people already made a lot of African reserves, i wanted this one to be unique… oh and also an actual Africa reserve is on the way. And also if this gets added to cotw in the summer instead of an actual Africa 2.0, ima cry in my bed)

Desc:

Welcome to South Africa, a small game and a large game hunter paradise. Many people around the world come down to here to have a hunt of a life time. In the African mangroves, you can hunt the African Pygmy goose, knobbed bill duck, and South African shelduck. While in the Savana plains and forest, you can hunt the gray winged francolin, black backed jackals and honey badgers. Welcome to South Africa

[Guns]

The 12G Oak African rail
[short name: 12G oak]

(Based off: Maxus II All-Purpose Hunter - Mossy Oak Bottomland)

Shells type: 12G

Holds: 4 shells

Color: mossy oak bottomland camo.

Desc: no matter if it comes to American or African species, the 12G oak is a all purpose shotgun what will do anything no matter the environment. It’s camo helping it blend into a lot of summer environments.

Mission

[Welcome to South Africa]

Head to your outpost next to the flooded grasslands.

[Stepping into unclaimed territory.]

Hunt an animal or bird and pass the harvest check to prove that you are eligible to hunt alone.

[a pest for the farmers]

A group of farmers not far away from the park left me a notification that a group of vervet monkeys were destroying their crops, track down the group and hunt them down, So the farmers can sell their crops on the market.

[Clean out the wetlands]

A part of the mangroves are covered trash and plastic, help save that part of the mangroves so ducks and animals can thrive again.

[the conservation to protect]

Head to a sanctuary outpost and help an injured black rhinoceros.
(One of the rewards: keeping the outpost)

[pink paw the terrible]

Some hunters called in, telling me that they saw an albino African civet that’s been alive since the beginning of the hunting park. We call him pink paw the terrible, hunt him down for a rewarding trophy after everything you done to help this park.

(Pink paw is normally a Diamond, but there is a chance of him being a troll.)

[Ps. If some missions are similar to emerald coast, because they were inspired by it]

Community challenges

This would be a cool community challenge if this idea was added:

[the coots and the ducks]

To contribute:

1st: Go hunt for any duck or coot species in enenqina elibomvu wetlands.

2nd: Down one with a shotgun of you’re choice, the virant .22LR or the Anderson .22LR

3rd: Pass the harvest check.

4th: Repeat until the progress bar reaches 100%

Rewards:

Mixed sand paint

Slate black paint

Mixed green paint

(Sadly these gun paints are useless)

Have we thought about waterbuck?

(Separate message & old message)

Eh nvm we can have 25 species, though I feel like the map would have to be a tiny bit larger for it to hold 25 species.

I made this one a while ago #1333419684439261194
It's not quite a wetlands map but it does have a vlei which is a wetland

I’m trying to find animals to remove so I can make space for the common waterbuck, but I just can’t. So at this point idc that i might just have 25 species in total.

@proper hamlet if you don’t mind rq

What do you think the common waterbuck class should be?

When deciding about what species I wanna add to a reserve concept I often think about the experience and what "role" the species plays on the map. For example raccon dog and red fox are different species but they are hunted basically the same, having both on a map increases the variety of species but not necessarily of experiences. Having many different experiences makes a map feel more alive as well as servi g to more different players. Species like tahr and feral goats for example give different experiences from one another.
In the past EW has made a maximum of 19 species on one map, I believe more is technically possible but that's a lot of new models on an africa map so that will be my top limit for how I would stock this reserve personally. I also chose species that are mainly found in and round wetlands and such because I don't think more then 3-4 biomes/mini biomes are possible on a semi small map.

-Elipsen waterbuck
-Impala
-Common reedbuck
-Bushpig
-African flawless Otter
-Honey badger
-African leopard
-Cape grysbok
-Blue duiker
-Vervet monkey
-Cape hare
-African snipe
-Kori bustard
-Mourning collared dove
-Loughing dove
-African pygmy goose
-African comb duck
-South African shell duck
-Red billed teal

I believe this setup would have a little thing for everyone but it would also get you out hunting wetlands not stationary but stalking which I think we haven't explored much. The African snipe are closely related to the soon to arrive woodcock, and would probably have similar animations. The clawless otter would introduce a 4th mustelid and behave similar to minks but bigger.

Ofcourse there are many other cool species missing butt think about how it would be actually hunting this map! I believe it would be very fun

# proper hamlet When deciding about what species I wanna add to a reserve concept I often think ...

@proper hamlet I read you’re message and here’s some things I changed and others

(Biomes)

Like you said a small game (or semi small game) park wouldn’t hold more then 3-4 biomes so I removed some, and yes I know there are still six left but I feel like 3 biomes dedicated to waterfowl and a few bigger animals, and 3 for more land mammals and upland birds are good to me. Though others might not agree with me.

(Animals)

I currently removed a few species, yes I know there are 22 species. More than 19 but I just can’t help myself, also I might think about changing my species list to yours.

(Next message is for @late grove)

I understand my mistake, i posted this idea at 1:30-ish am and i was sleepy. I will fix the mistake immediately

This would be a perfect appetizer to a bigger African map

The only thing I'd suggest is baboons because they're super iconic

Yeah especially their calls are super iconic to the bush

Sorry for not typing in this concept park for a while, since I’m writing else for the future. But as of right now I should be close to being done writing so I can continue making ideas for this concept park
