Mountain lions in game are to high on classes. Real life mountain lions are about the same size as deer whitetail not mule deer.

Predators tend to be higher in class for some reason, after all the lion and tiger are in the same class as the buffalo.

Also the snow leopard takes up the class 4 slot (irl the snow leopard and the M lion are 100lbs difference in max weight with the M lion being larger).

But the class system is just a confusing mess, initially more intended for weapon ethicality rather than an animal size chart though they semi correlate

Oh yeah the class system desperately needs a revamp

Even if they belong in C:4 with predators it makes sense to bump them up 1 class for danger lvl. Otherwise, I agree that classes are not accurate in the slightest esp. when you consider authentic game weights which EW over exaggerated with for various species. I made a post a long time ago on how it should be. Though I havn't updated it with the newly added species.

You should have 1 post you have all your wishes in so that we can bump and upvote it

Then ig have a few main posts you update.

But besides that, how are my suggested changes and would you incorporate them in your posts?

@mossy jewel - I havn't really been in the forums as much and I do tag various posts in mine if they relate. Unlike most ppl that get offended when ppl add their threads, I encourage ppl to add them to mine esp. if it's related to the post topic. As for your topics they do raise valid points for the community to discuss on. I want to believe the devs are taking notes but I find it difficult to believe they look at every feedback post let alone all the chats. I'd wager they skim most of them & casually follow topics that tie into their current projects.

wolves should be class 4 Puma/mountain lion are fine in class 5 (IMO) but wolves have no business being class 6

That’s kinda weird putting cougars in Class 4 is like putting Common Leopards in Class 4 or 3, who are they fourth largest wild cat in the world behind Tigers, Lions and Jaguars so if anything would putting them in a higher class like a class 6 or 7 make more sense?!

Cougars irl aren’t that tough, no need to put them in Class 6, and especially not Class 7 alongside Alligators, Black Bears, and Elk. Most people I know hunt Cougars with 6.5 or .308, and that is more than enough to bring one down. A .375 is just insanely overkill of them.

African Leopards make more sense for Class 7 seeing as they’re insanely tough animals that can tank pretty monstrous rounds like .338 and .375.

Based on Authentic weight & Size and before ppl debate with me Eurasian Lynx they are smaller than Snows in weight & length but are the same height & just as capable over the other lynx. Gray Fox are smaller than Red Fox in every way & Coyotes are bigger than Red Fox by a fair amount. As for cougars yes C:4 is an accurate assumption although given their demeaner & behavior their a C:5 with the danger lvl. Or if it makes some feel better their hunt lvl since nearly every predator here could or can take prey at least a Class or 2 above them with the exception of C: 8-9 that are both technically considered to be dangerous game & are classed as Apex Predators.
