I think it would be nice if there were three different body models for most of the species in game. An example would be with whitetail having lower weight deer look smaller and skinner and higher weight deer looking bigger. I think it would make a lot more sense than when you have a level one moose that has the same body mass as a level 5. I also think for most species that females should have their own model similar to how crocodiles work. Because it feels like female deer look the same as male deer just without the antlers. Just an idea if they ever get time to go out of their way to do it that would be nice. I don’t know if it could be extended to everything like birds and predators but it could be interesting.

More distinct models mean more video memory, and I don’t think EW likes that. The importance of memory optimization.
As long as they don't age I don't see why not
Yeah, just body size. no age system like way of the hunter.
Ever notice that bucks have way thicker necks during hunting season? Yeah that would be a massive improvement
It’s during their rut (most often autumn) that this happens so I think it should depend on the map, like for silver ridge peaks it would be odd to have this as the map looks to be in either late spring/early-mid summer.
Yet for Layton, Hirsch, NEM they'd be the norm. Maybe Mississippi Acres too, green grass and flowers are still a thing in coldest part of winter there irl so its confusing AF
Yeah doesn’t help that as a “game warden” or an analog to one you could technically be hunting in any season as far as the maps with little seasonal change go.
Yeah, that alone leaves a lot of stuff just up in the air and until they decide one way or another we have no idea what's going on
