When shooting an animal, the cone on the track before the first blood splatter will point in the opposite direction of the footprints.
The cone of the final blood splatter before the animal dies and/or the cone of the last track before the animal dies (not sure if it happens with footprints) will also point in the opposite direction of the corpse.
