In classic certain clothes gave you a camouflage bonus depending on if you used the right camo for the right environment, such as using snowy looking camo on whiterime ridge, this feature could be added into COTW for some added realism
Currently the clothing offers nothing other than visual customization and I think having certain clothing give you a bonus to camouflage would help with less experienced players just starting out and for more experienced players the option to have a more casual approach to hunting and flush out the ambush style of hunting more since in my experience it seems to be a bit neglected by the community at large (I could be wrong but)
Obviously there would have to be more base game clothing options to unlock since currently the only new clothing has been restricted to dlc maps
Both of the two most popular modern hunting games, that being COTW and WOTH, neither of them have camouflage equipment for some odd reason and it would be nice to see camouflage be implemented into COTW as an option
