#IRL- Hunting advice.

as cool as it is to share irl trophies, this is a discord for the game surely there are multiple communities to help more on the hunting side of things
You could ask in the irl hunting channel? #🥩︴irl-hunting unless you’re under 18 I guess but you might have to take some advice with a grain of salt, as techniques and animals (even within the same species) will differ across regions and habitat. Not to mention legality stuff depending on country/state/territory/etc.
I do see the OP's point to a degree. TH:CotW's message at the start was heavily focused on authentic hunting practices & simulated or rather reenactments of realistic scenarios hunters as well as Wildlife officials handle often. Not saying all EW's reserve releases still dont but the narratives have been incredibly short & dry as of late. But the current or rather modern generation has clearly overshadowed the games message by skipping &/or ignoring the narratives & key points of the games core messaging related to actual hunts bc of G1, rare fur, & diamond Grinds being more & more popular as a playstyle which is fine if EW doesn't stray to modern trends and sticks to there roots. Also EW is partly at fault for also adding controversial (Endangered) species as huntable GAME over the concept of them just being mentioned as they did in Savanna with the Black Rhino. The community is also to blame for supporting the idea to push it further as well. Now before ppl jump my case Sunderpatan was a unique case with Tigers as an authentic scenario of an animal that was becoming a Danger due to an injury & or infection (I dont 100% recall) that forced the animal to seek out easy prey. In short it was in distress & was a high risk to the wildlife & locals. These kinds of cases happen often across the world not just with predators but with prey in cases of overpopulation that often leads to starvation, disease, as well as ecological fallout that affects the ecosystem of both fauna & flora (animals & plants). The Game narratives explain these cases fairly well for a hunting game but not all reserves have scenarios or cases that you the player (as an experienced field hunter & conservationist) have to assist with like Revontuli where your there like a casual hunting trip. My point is if you take the time to play the game the message is there & I find it educational to those who have never hunted before. Hope this helps clear the air on the topic.
