Outfit, rifle, and a new vehicle to celebrate Africa's hunting heritage.
The Vehicle:
The Rover. A simple lightweight truck with room for 4 hunters and their supplies. A common sight at hunting camps across all of Africa well known for its reliability and easy maintenance. Designed from the ground up for rough terrain and bad conditions the Rover might not be the fastest vehicle around but its the one you need for traveling the bushveld.
The Rifle.
The Oxley .458. A heavy duty single shot designed for hunting Africa's biggest game and a reliable defense against the horns and claws of Apex predators. Its performance is between that of the .375 and .470 cartridges, neatly balancing the power of the .470 with the long effective range of the .375. It may only hold one shot but its faster to reload than the .470 King and hits harder than the .375.
The Gear.
A veteran hunter and world traveler by the name of Larry Weishunn inspired this choice. Known best as a wildlife biologist and a skilled hunter, he chooses his equipment with utility in mind. Snake proof chaps and canvas pants protect from fang and thorn alike, a dark colored linen shirt for both concealment and keeping cool in the bushveld, a wide trimmed had offers protection from the sun and interference with aiming.
