I’ve noticed my bloodhound, very oftentimes runs up to the first blood he can sense, then just stops tracking. He simply refuses to track. This makes it hard to grind wolves as it’s night and I can’t see tracks very well, if the dog isn’t doing his job, tracking, then I can’t grind effectively and pick up my kills, hindering my chances of spawning a Great One. This needs to be fixed.

I think this may be because the animal has gone "out of range." Still might be a bug but most instances I've dealt with similar is with faster animals that didn't go down quickly cause I botched my shot. If I moved further down the line myself, I could often get my dog to pick up the trail later.
Hello @fading blade
I'm sorry to hear your Bloodhound is not behaving as intended. I understand this can be frustrating.
We have received similar reports about an issue where hunting dogs sometimes become idle when tracking blood, and our team is working on locating its root cause and developing a solution.
I hope you enjoy your hunts in the meantime despite this inconvenience. If you encounter any other issues, please report them to us through our support portal: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Well yes i’d like to do that, but if it’s dark i struggle to see where I shot it, especially if im shooting more than 1 wolf. Even with my flashlight on it can be difficult
Oh absolutely. I get the struggle completely. Glad to hear it's on their list though!
Had my bloodhound lead me to my kill across a lake but instead of doing the whole harvest found thing he just turned around a crossed the lake again for some reason still “tracking”
