Yesterday I shot a tiger on sundarpatan. I didn't get a good hit on it and it spooked. I reset the time and came back but I didn't find the tiger. That was because it died. So I lost a tiger.

I thought the same. But..... I had the same thing with a mule at Askiy map. But it not disappear after I changed the time. Only track and blood but not body. I found it accidentally. Even the dog refused to find.

There is a bug where the dog will go idle, only way to get past it is to try and follow the tracks 50+ meters and try using the dog to track again

Instead of resetting the time, if you know you got a bad shot but still want that particular animal for whatever reason, exit to main menu and it will reset without the shot having been taken and you'll get another try. It is also usually found again in the same spot or very close by it
