And it depends on the specific region of Ontario this hypothetical reserve takes place in

Because arctic foxes are only found in the northern regions of Ontario such as around the Hudson’s bay

And gray foxes are only found in the southern most parts of Ontario near the border close to the states

The rest of these roster suggestions are found throughout most of Ontario except pheasants which don’t have wild populations like elsewhere or if they do it’s not that many and they’re very hard to find

Around the west Nipissing area is likely a good location to set the map or somewhere further up north like in Cochrane which do have wolves up there

With the wolves part it’s just that wolves aren’t that common in Ontario and are restricted to specific regions so it would be a bit jarring to see wolves in the southern regions or the places near to where I live and grew up lol

It’s mainly just trying to find a good location for a Ontario map cus the species present really has a sudden change depending on the region

Wouldn’t mind being able to hunt spruce grouse as ruffed grouse ingame

#

Ptarmigans are also found much further north in Ontario aswell

How can people be sick of Canadian maps. We only have one and it was one of the areas with some of the least to offer. Canada still has some really great areas with new species to offer that could definitely be added.
