How do i make sure I don't lose my progress or, like keep my save file somewhere where I can't lose them. The past couple of times I have logged on to the game, it has said your game files are corrupted and then attempts to redownload them. I played for a couple hours last night, buying a new rifle sight and some other stuff, and when I logged in today, it said my game files were corrupt again. When it redownloaded them and I got into my game, the hour of progress I had last night was gone. Any way to prevent/fix this? I am playing through the xbox app on pc.

I am also on PC. You can download the file and it will make a backup of the \Documents\Avalanche Studios\theHunter Call of the Wild\Saves folder. So, if you also have that folder in your documents folder then, maybe, it will work too? Otherwise make a daily manual backup of the folder where your files are kept.
