What is the point in knowing the exact score...?

The class on the weapon thingy would be nice but showing the exact score and if its gonna be a diamond kinda ruins the suprise of a nice trophy

Id settle for adjusting the hud to sit in the corner properly.

Outer Worlds 2 has a setting for all the individual hud elements display sizes and i did not know how much I needed that in my life.

Also, a legitimate timer with actual number displays for scent cover/attractants would be extremely useful

It’s not possible to determine the score without measuring the trophy. The skull of a bear for example.

#

I don’t need either of the ones you’re suggesting.

Lol everyone that's not the exact score of the animal, of you read the GUI you'll notice the score estimation on top, that one on the bottom is supposed to be info about what the score needs to be for the animal to be a diamond so to give the player a rough idea if an animal is potentially diamond scoring

Haven't said it is, just correcting people's assumptions of the op's post

Regardless if this feature was to be implemented it would definitely need to be done in a clearer way, the fact so many people misinterpret the information is evidence enough the GUI layout is not the most intuitive as presented in the mockup.

I think the issue with that is the fact the diamond score threshold is larger than the actual score estimation, that and the graphic of the diamond scoring both contribute in making the control value more distracting than the data you should be focusing on; I'd rather make it so the value is in parenthesis after the score estimation in the same font size

Here is another idea: Showing the fur/plumage rarity in the harvest screen.

#

Pretty eazy to tell that albino is rare but orange racoon dog?

ok that is something I'd love, tho maybe it could be done by simply color code the name of the fur? but I would think it super useful to have as a feature
