Adding additional small game to Vurhonga

Why these certain species?

Rock hyrax:

There are alot of rocky hills on Vurhonga and airgun hunting in south Africa is quite popular and this would give the airgun alot of work.

Cape porcupine:

Vurhonga offers alot of open fields which is the perfect environment for porcupine. They are fun to hunt as well as to observe.

Vervet monkey:

These species are pests toward the farmers and households of South Africa and everyone living in South Africa would be pleased to put a bullet into these Grey furballs.

Chacma baboon:

Much like the vervet monkey it is a pest but on a more extreme level especially to farmers as they do way more damage, we as south africans would be just as pleased to be able to shoot the chacma baboon.

Honestly you don’t go nowhere in South Africa without seeing these things so they make a lot of sense to add to the map particularly the baboon and vervet monkey

They are native to South Africa, however they are the smaller version of the greater kudu which are alot bigger and go above 200kg's, but at any rate they are native to southern African countries (not sure if they are to all but at least 1 or 2

Lesser kudu live Tanzania and Ethiopia and don’t even coexist in the wild with springboks

Vurhonga was made to "represent" Africa and research was done on every species currently in Vurhonga and the devs worked hard, I'll give em that. They did a great job on most of the species especially blue wildebeest. At this point bro you should be happy lesser kudu are an option in cotw since I've never seen it being an option b4 cotw, would you rather have kudu to shoot or none at all?

I like it better because better variety and accuracy of Namibia it seems like vurhonga is Southern Africa not Tanzania where lesser kudu are found

The devs can't keep everyone happy. But I know for sure that I am happy to be able to play on a map that resembles my environment, there is room for improvement on all maps, but mind you the map came out a long time ago, and we've gotten consistent new maps and packs which the devs were busy with, you can only give em so much work until their schedule is full

I would love to have greater Kudo and it may not be accurate to have lesser Kudo but there’s already a good number of level six animals on that map adding greater kudo would just mean another one. I would prefer they just fill out the lower rank of animals between level 2 and 4

Let’s be realistic of Africa and do some research that lesser kudu don’t coexist with springbok maybe zebra would fit burchells maybe if they do Tanzania lesser kudu will fit well have striped hyenas, grants zebra do we have to argue for “facts”

I don't want to "argue", you've made it VERY CLEAR you don't like lesser kudu and they don't exist in southern africa, but at this point you just want to hate on a video game and you're willing to argue to get a species removed that honestly looks beautiful

I see this thread turned into an argument about Lesser Kudu simply because one person said they should not be on Vurhonga

Here are my thoughts on that arguement
• Vurhonga has been more or less confirmed to be set in Botswana based on an official tweet by Expansive Worlds
• Lesser Kudu are exclusively found in Northeastern Africa with the countries they are hunted in being Tanzania and Ethiopia
• Making an African Reserve represent All of Africa is a really terrible idea, especially if half of the species are exclusive to a specific region in Africa
• Criticizing the choices made by the developers does not mean the person making those criticisms hates the game, I criticize the game a fair bit yet its my preferred hunting game
• Lets swing this conversation back to the topic of the thread which is the whole idea of adding new smaller game animals to Vurhonga

One small game animal I would like to see, especially on the Plateau area of the map are Klipspringer

Imo the plateau is what needs more life in it with only 3 species 2 being on the smaller side it feels rather empty, thats why I love the idea of rock hyraxes(bias aside) but klipspringer could be good to have too

Klip springer, duiker, bushbuck and Steen bokkies would all be nice to have in the game, you don't see them in games often and they're all such cool animals

The last hunting game I have seen any of them in was Cabela's African Safaris (It has Klipspringer, Grey and Red Duiker, Steenbok and Bushbuck while the PSP and Xbox Versions also have Dik-dik and Rhebok) and Big Game Hunter 2008 (It has Klipspringer and Dik-dik)
