if you dont know peru has the amazon rainforest the andes mountains and a desert so i think this would make for a good big map

with animals from classes 1-7 or 8

list of predators in peru

  • jaguar class 7
  • puma
    -spectacled bears class 7 (omnivore)
    -black caiman class 8
    -giant otter class 2
  • andean condor its a masive bird so class 2

list of herbivores in peru
-capybara class 5
-llama and alpaca class 6
-andean deer class 4

and some filler animals like birds

for a story reward id say a traditional tribal bow

boat travel would be cool too and 2 options than motor boat will work like the atv it spooks animals and a row boat it will spook animals but from >150 meters

Idk if hunting condors would be ethical, we can hunt endangered species and such but idk if condors are hunted for anything, only thing i’ve heard about condors is that they’re endangered but i also don’t see the point in hunting them

sage basin
# jade yarrow so are tigers

Yeah but tigers have a reason to be hunted, because they can be a threat to livestock and humans. Wouldn’t think they’re regularly hunted but only when needed, why would we hunt condors?

where do we draw the line for ethical species and not

I’d say for species ditch the alpaca, they’re a domestic species and in Peru there are no wild or feral populations.
As for the lama it should be one of the wild species either the guanaco or the vicuña.
Also the black caiman should be the same class as the american alligator

Spectacled Caiman (class 4, R) different enough in size and color from the black caiman that I believe they could share the reserve.

Possible returning species that haven’t been mentioned:

Cinnamon Teal

Whitetail deer ( need to be split into subspecies, Peru has O. v. peruvianus who’s antler structure is very different from the whitetail in game and overall they are smaller) would also be nice to see the antlers remodeled for all whitetail (baring great ones) and some tail rigging done.

Fallow Deer ( non-native ,they were introduced. I personally wouldn’t want them on the map)

Collared Peccary (meh)

If it ain’t obvious I’d like a proper South American map lol
