i think events similar to classic would be really fun, and it could be optional via a setting or a small map only available to play on during the event etc. i know i did have a lot of fun on classic hunting the werewolves for Halloween

The devs have said that they likely won’t do this because COTW isn’t a live service game, so in order to add in an event with new species and everything would mean pushing out a large update, and then pushing out another update to get rid of those changes after the event ends. It would just be a lot of time, space, and strain for Console Players.
