I would love to see upland bird hunting be re-work in a way where like birds don’t really warning call at you and give away their position because that’s not what happens in real life. Birds when they know you’re near will typically bed down that’s where a dog comes in handy. I feel like since birds warning call at you it kind of takes the use of the dog and makes it useless. I just think it would be a good idea for upland birds to not warning call at you when you get close and rather bed down so then you can use your dog to get in there and flush them up.

I agree with this, animals usually don’t do much warning calls as they do ingame, but i do wish not all animals do it, some time later down the line i’d like to see upland birds in trees with a tree update, making animals interact with trees

Um follow by regular calls I mean quail and pheasant best way to scout them irl is listen for their calls early morning or walk around until you walk on top of them and flush them up that’s what I do irl I don’t own a dog but when I pheasant and quail hunt I just walk until I get on top of them.
