I’ve noticed and others as well that grizzly bears, elk and moose have gotten tougher, only having the 375 getting double lung on them and higher. The 4-8 rifles, the muzzle loader curman can’t hunt them efficently anymore. Those animals run 500m before dropping, making every big animal like you shoot, a journey to find. You can do soft points, but most can’t penetrate far enough to reach the lung on most angles so it has made hunting those animals really boring and non-consistent? Now obviously this is a big issue because 1. It’s unrealistic, very unrealistic. 2. It takes away fun and customization. 3. It was to my knowledge, a unasked for change, i didn’t see anything in patch notes or updates, and many people are unhappy. 4. Bison and other class 9s have not been affected (The 7mm penetrates better on them than on moose, elk and grizzlies). So EW, please explain yourselves on this. You claim to aim for realism, yet we can’t even hunt realistically. Also buckshot and slugs needs to be adjusted as well. Anyways let me know your critique on this, as i could have missed some information. Research has been from me playing the game and talking to people here on the server.

Ok so grizzly bears aren’t as tough so i’m taking them off the list. If you guys noticed any animals being in similar toughness do please mention them, i’ve noticed this on moose, and all elk

I bought all the dlc with powerful rifles because this problem. Only understood it with increasing of hours spend in the game. Ammo balance is a financial fraud. Now I enjoy the hunter classic. Because there is not such things here.

It does feel like that, that’s why i made this post i’m glad you can share in my experience and i’m sure many other do as well. I see it as my mission in this to make our voice heard in this and to let EW know that this unreasonable decision is killing their game

This issue has been talked about on other posts so it isn’t my original idea but if it isn’t in the coming update i would be disappointed and i imagine other people as well. 4-8s got randomly nerfed, which i don’t think was needed, since they were still somewhat weaker than 7-9s. Now they are unplayable against big game except bears
