i don't remember africa having fallow deer?
Historically, in Morocco and Tunisia; currently, in the vicinity of Cape Town (South Africa), on private ranches throughout South Africa, and on the island of Madagascar.
hm i see
There is not Blacktail in Alberta.
As someone who has lived in Alberta all my life we do not have Black-tailed Deer, we have the larger Mule Deer, plus its like you must not of known that Alberta has both cougars (Its one of the 2 primary provinces for cougar hunting) and grizzly bear
Parque could also use mouflon
Mississippi could use wood duck, gadwall and coyote
Rancho could get northern pintail, puma, mountain lion, green winged teal and cinnamon teal
Also alberta blacktail?? Just go with yotes, pumas or grizzly
Nor Colorado, that’s why they got scrapped on the og backfill
Realistically the Only Reserves that should have Blacktails are Layton Lakes and Yukon Valley also I'm pretty sure Cuatro Colinas already has Euro Rabbits on it
It the European Hare that is on Cuatro, not the Rabbits, also Black Bears would be a better fit for Yukon then Blacktails on the basis of having a wider distribution across Alaska if we were going off of species already in the game, if we factor in new species: Dall's Sheep would be a better fit then either Black Bear or Black-tailed Deer. I would rather see Black-tailed Deer on either a California map or a map in British Columbia
No mouflon on hirsch ? Thats a crime
The Blacktail in Yukon Valley, my answer is no. Two reasons: Yukon Valley is located in the interior of Alaska, not in the coastal Southern part of Alaska, and the Blacktail of Alaska (Sitka Blacktail) is not the same as the Blacktail of Layton Lakes District (Columbia Blacktail).
Sitka Blacktail (Left) and Columbia Blacktail (Right). The Sitka Blacktail has smaller antlers.
Interesting also don’t forget Coyote on “Askiy, Yukon, SRP, and Mississippi” coyotes are found pretty much almost everywhere in North America
Yeah but id honestly only like to see them on srp. Other than that I think we have enough coyote maps
Not enough*
Coyotes are widespread all across NA and showing that would be great but pass putting them in one to three maps
True. I guess I’m thinking about the logistics of how distribution and populations go. Icl I’d be chill with coyote on every map but Alberta cause that ones packed and needs grizzly and mountain lion first
Askiy needs new species lowk like Canadian lynx and snowshoe hare
But grizzly would be nice to have
While I wholeheartedly agree with that statement I don’t see new species getting added again with the quality control ew has now. It’s a lot more intense to make new species
Also grizzly is a Canadian and especially Alberta stable and is completely a necessity for the map. Now or in the future
Honestly, I could say the same for red fox! I think red foxes shouldn’t be brought on anymore maps for new maps for a while, Red Foxes kind of need a break, coyotes on the other hand there isn’t enough and they desperately need a remaster and a rework.!
True true
Same with mallards and Canadian geese
Also for Askiy ridge Alberta, don’t forget “Mountain Lion, Grizzly Bear, Coyote, Ptarmigans and Wild Boar”!
Feral hog* wild boar are only found in Europe and is where the domestication event occurred
There are actual Eurasian wild boar in Western Canada that escaped! @torpid condor Back me up
Wild Boar and Wild Boar-Domestic Pig hybrids have established feral populations across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and sightings have been known from British Columbia, Ontario and I think there is a population in Quebec
@crisp nebula Despite that I don’t think Wild Boar would fit well since most sightings and kills occur in agricultural areas plus I would rather see Cougars on Askiy Ridge then Wild Boar
Cougars are tied with Coyotes and Grizzlies for number 1 for me!
A Diamond European Mouflon.
The European Mouflon needs remodeling and should be added to Hirschfelden.
Tf ?! I knew mouflon could get wide but thats overkill 😂
Could imange this as a GO too
