Waterfowl no longer spooked by predators

Sometimes it gets very annoying to hunt waterfowl on certain maps like Mississippi and emerald coast since gators and crocs always spook them if waterfowl got a change where they didnt always spook it would be a nice and very welcome change

I disagree, i get that it can get annoying but it’s realistic

gameplay is still important to consider if you cant even hunt the waterfowl you are hunting

Its a video game after all you gotta make the experience actually fun instead of mildly annoying, its more a nuisance than anything

Yes of course, but you can just shoot everything in the area and get enough hunting pressure for the crocs to not have zones there. And there are also places where they don’t have zones on the map already, the game is very customizable in that way

Not every location is like that sometimes the crocs just come back eventually having to go out of your way to find spots crocs or gators aren't makes it more of a hassle than it should be

waterfowl overall don’t care about hunting pressure at all, if you have a deadzone where your decoys are it should be fine

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a dead zone though as you brought up earlier about realism

Shouldn't most animals avoid that area? As it says in game they would

Idk i’ve seen ducks land at the same place even though they just flew away a while before someone shot, irl. But i suppose that depends, predators scaring prey is more essential imo

But you'll still have it for other species its not like im suggesting to remove it from everything predators should still spook some stuff but to make waterfowl hunting more fun and less of a hassle its better to balance it out and not let them get spooked before you even notice they are there

Oh alright yeah i suppose you could do that, like maybe they stay there for a bit then notice the crocs or gators and then fly off

ive tried hunting magpie goose and it didnt work because of the crocodiles
i killed so many crocodiles near me but it still didnt work

I think far north there’s a lake where they regularly land, crocs are near but it’s kinda separate from the marshland area somewhat

I personally like this, and i wish the devs added so salties and gators can actually kill and eat the waterfowl

One thing you can do is to kill all the crocs and leave them on the ground; they won't come back.

Still more hassle than it's worth eventually the crocs come back or more spawn in their place
