A map of Utah maybe with a desert and part of the map mountains or just mountains or desert. Utah has a variety of places to hunt it would make a great map.

mule deer, elk, pronghorn, bison, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, turkeys, black bear, cougar, waterfowl, pheasants, ducks, geese, rabbits, sage grouse, forest grouse, chukar partridge, doves, bobcat, and coyote.

There’s an outpost on silver ridge peaks called Uintah, so maybe that’s a little bit of a reminder that it’s very close and maybe has too much in common with Silver Ridge Peaks. I could walk to Utah where I’m at in Colorado.

They really gotta be something, US is mostly done for imo, but Canadian or Mexican have potential, the only ones ik of is yours of California and Hawaii (even though i wouldn’t really count it as a US map)

For full size maps, the Continental US is essentially done unless you bring in California or Texan Game Ranches. Hawaii would also be a good map.

Texas Game ranches could bring in alot of interesting exotics + a 2nd nilgai map

Yeah but it’s a ranch it’s not a reserve where the animals actually live. Sure they survive there but it’s not fitting for the game imo. I want full nature, a place where i have trouble visiting real life, hunt animals that i can’t irl with different methods to be fully immersed

I genuinely see no problem with a game ranch its still a place we can hunt and still pretty much natural its all introduced species with some natural ones, we have parque. I don't see why a game ranch wouldn't fit...

Because it’s a ranch basically not like a natural reserve like Nepal or any other place for that matter, i think people me included would like mostly to hunt the animals in their original habitat as well

Just saying that Parque is basically a hunting ranch, I mean half the species don’t even live on the continent.

Which of them? I heard about peccaries and maybe Mule deer and also Axis but haven’t gotten it confirmed

The only species on Parque that are native to Argentina are
• Collared Peccary, but only in Northern Argentina, meaning they can be considered introduced on Parque as its set in the Patagonia region of Argentina
• Puma, they live from Northern BC in Canada to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina
• Cinnamon Teal

The rest of the species are introduced

Hmm ok idk i feel like the species fit in better there than the species that are in Texas. Also isn’t Texas mostly flat plains where the ranch is?

Well most species that are in Texas hunting ranches live in savannahs aka flat grasslands.

Idk would feel like hunting in a zoo, a very open zoo, i’d rather a native Texan species reserve

There are some species that cannot be hunted in their native territory like several antelope species (Scimitar-horned Oryx, Addax, Dama Gazelle, Nile Lechwe), Nubian Ibex and several deer species like Barasingha (ironic considering they are on Sundarpatan), Pere David's Deer and Eld's Deer that can all be hunted in Texas

Well that’s when it’s great that it’s a game, i believe they even said that that isn’t stopping them from adding the animals to a map

There are reasons why a few of those species would have to be introduced on a Texan Game Ranch map

• Most places the Nubian Ibex live in don't allow hunting, plus the one country that sort of allowed it (though the legality of the hunt was questionable) is currently in a civil war (Sudan)
• The Addax barely lives in Africa and as far as I know a Texan Reserve is the most realistic way to include them seeing as how Texas has a larger Addax population then all of Africa (And while the country of Chad would work for Addax, Scimitar Oryx and Dama Gazelle considering it has wild/semi-wild populations of all 3, the hunting of all 3 is a draw to Texan Game Ranches)
• Nile Lechwe mainly lives in South Sudan, a country that outright banned hunting after gaining their independence from Sudan (And an Ethiopian Reserve is more likely to focus on Highland and Desert species)
• Pere David's Deer can only be hunted in Texas and Argentina and possibly the UK as China famously banned big game hunting for a lot of animals (Pere Davids Deer were not even considered a game species when China was last allowed hunting)

Don't get me wrong Texas is not high on my list of locations I want in the game, its just that its the most realistic location for some species, funny enough a lot of species like Blackbuck, Nilgai and more recently Barbary Sheep are huntable in areas they are native to (The antelope, hog deer and axis deer in parts of Pakistan and Barbary sheep in Morocco)

Most Texas ranches are in what’s called the “Hill Country”, which is a mix of Chaparral and semi-desert with (mostly) rolling hills. Plus, a Texas Game Ranch could bring us many species we cannot hunt in the wild, such as Addax, Scimitar Oryx, Eld’s Deer, and Nubian Ibex (although I would like to see them on an Oman map if they ever add it).

Eh, i do wish Parque Fernando would get more native species or so, but idk about Texas man, it just doesn’t fit in, it’s not natural it’s man made even if the animals fit in there

I mean, Parque also doesn’t feel natural. Think about all the maps with introduced species. Does Te Awaroa feel unnatural to you? What about Emerald Coast?

Yeah because it is in a place where some of the native animals exists, Te Awaroa is a cool concept so idk if anything feels natural there, Emerald coast is not a favorite but they have some feral problems there irl like New Zealand does as well

You’re acting as if a Texas map wouldn’t have any native species. A Texas map would absolutely have to have Whitetail, Turkeys, maybe Javelina if it’s far south enough in Texas. Nilgai would also need to be on a Texas map (which Nilgai are considered a relatively naturalized species as they don’t cause much damage to native species and ecosystems).
