Hi I have a new suggestion for the new map. Title: Suggestion: New Reserve – Transylvania, Romania

Hello Expansive Worlds team,

I would like to suggest a new reserve for theHunter: Call of the Wild: Transylvania, Romania.

Why Transylvania?
• Unique wildlife: Carpathian brown bears, wolves, wild boars, red deer, roe deer, lynx, and even chamois. This would add both iconic European animals and challenging predators.
• Beautiful landscapes: The Carpathian Mountains, dense forests, rolling hills, rivers, and traditional villages would create one of the most atmospheric hunting environments in the game.
• Cultural and historical appeal: Transylvania is famous worldwide, associated with legends and mysterious forests, making it an instantly recognizable and appealing location.
• Real hunting traditions: Romania is one of Europe’s most important hunting destinations in real life, so it would be both authentic and educational to include it in the game.

Gameplay opportunities
• Large predators (bears, wolves, lynx) for intense hunts.
• Red deer, roe deer, and wild boar as the main ungulates.
• Seasonal variation with snowy winters and lush green summers.
• Unique lodges inspired by Carpathian mountain cabins or traditional Romanian houses.

I truly believe that a Transylvania Reserve would be a very popular DLC, adding variety and a new European flavor to the game.

The animals is: Brown Bear,Grey Wolf, Mouflon,Wild pigs,bison(Zimbru),Lynx,European Badger, chamois,red deer, follow deer, roe deer ,European Rabbit, Mallard ducks, greylag goose and the Rooster of the mountain.

I'm from Romania, that's why I would like to include a map with Transylvania because Transylvania is the most beautiful hunting area in all of Europe.

I’m not seeing any new species on this roster aside from the Golden Jackal. We saw how badly a map with only 1 new species can be received by the community when New England released. If there were some new species, perhaps I would want a map set in Transylvania (or anywhere in the Carpathian Mountains).

Aside from the fact that it's a copy of the reserve from the Way of the Hunter game, I would prefer a hunting reserve from France or Austria.

Woth didn’t do Transylvania that well, CoTW could do it better, but yes the map needs more uniqe species more than jackals and badgers. Remodels are possible for capercaillie, lynx, brown bears, mouflon, chamois, wild boar and European bison. Many which are needed. I will look for new species they can add

Wood pigeon are possible, also pheasants but those aren’t new. Wild horses, muskrats, raccoon dogs not new as well. And @merry smelt i won’t take offense of your opinion, we all have one so of course it’s fine. But Transylvania is a cool location in general, cooler than Austria imo even though it is a beautiful country. I would want Transylvania to work, so i care less about the overall new wildlife, as mentioned, it’s not much, but it would be a very cool place to hunt, very popular in real life and beautiful.

If Askiy Ridge can get away with having mostly returning species

So can a map set in Transylvania

Yeah but Askiy still had 8 new species, including 3 Big Game species

Yeah it works and it’s a great map, as long as you add in some new species in there, there can be waterfowl as well like the woodcock, red breasted goose (though endangered it is no problem for CoTW), common pochard, shovelers also the marbled duck. So it would be a good reason to rework how waterfowl act when flying as well
