True rack possibility for bears

So I think an kind of true rack system should be in play for bears specifically black bears and my thought is scar possibilities, maybe there could be like scars on the bear maybe patches of fur missing something like that. I don’t know if this would be for the great one only because that would make since or if it could be added to every black bear. Some ideas I have could be a chest scar similar to the mission brown bear on medved, a one eye scar or literally any kind of scar.

(I know nothing about how the true rack system works and no clue if it could work with things like this)

I think a size-per-level or a TruSize for bears would be great, smaller level bears have a smaller body, and a larger bear, like a 9, has a much bigger body compared to a level 5 or 3.

That would also be cool just something to like help the bear keep up with something like the antler variations of deer

Don’t they have that already? I noticed most animals differ in size between levels and gender, not much difference between the males but it’s there

i havent seen any, and most deer just have antler sizes, a level 2 mule deer has the same body size as a level 5

If its extremely similar, are you actually seeing a difference or just convincing yourself theres a difference?

Also, a true difference of body size would show the real difference between subspecies (think Alberta mule deer compared to desert mule deer like rancho) seeing a real difference would be incredible

Yeah i’m pretty sure i’ve seen it like how a lvl 2 sambar looks smaller than a lvl 5 and it isn’t just the antlers. But i think on some animals it might not be added, like on birds

A size difference would be great as well. But instead of scars, which don't matter in scoring, it should be true skulls or something. Higher level animals scored by skull should have a bigger head the higher the level

Yeah, if I'm correct the Boone and Crockett scoring system measures the length and width of the skull proportional to the body size. That's also how it works in the hunter classic.

Not on bears. No visible difference between a level 1 female and a diamond male.

I think Gators have that, but it’s still only a little difference. Even a level 3 Male is still like 4 meters long.

Nah there’s a small difference between the males and females, but not nearly enough. Males should be at least 30% larger than females, probably more. It’s not as insane of a difference as with Crocodiles and Alligators, but it should be visible if they’re standing next to each other, while it’s not easy to tell unless they’re right next to each other in the lodge at the current moment.

Not in my experience. Had a diamond and level 1 female in the same zone. No difference whatsoever. I play on a 65" TV and had a good view of it. But I wholeheartedly agree with everything else you're saying.

Maybe it’s my eyes deceiving me, but I could swear there’s a difference, albeit a very slight one. I’ll test it when I get home from work tonight, just to be sure. I hope that eventually there’s a substantial and visible difference between them, whether that’s in this game or the next one.

Ohh ok, well it depends then, i’m sure a lvl4-5 moose is bigger than lvl 1-2, but the difference as discussed here, is not as much as it should be

By the way, which bear can be a Great One: black, brown, or grizzly?
Regarding the size, I'd like to know the size according to its class. I imagine a Great One should be the biggest.
As for the fur, that's true, shedding isn't represented, and again, I imagine a Great One, the patriarch of the sector, would have some scars.

Black bears can be great ones, a diamond black bear weighs like 290kg while great ones weigh 409kgs i think

Another thing I’d like to see added to beard idk if itd be a rare fur type or a g1 fur type but a piebald would be pretty cool

As far as I’m aware this is the only existing photo of a piebald black bear but it’s still be awesome.
